Hi there fell slow-cookers. :D
I have a request. There are two days a week that I have absolutely no time to cook, but since I'm relatively new to crockpots, I don't really have a good back stock of recipes. I'm looking for something with little prep-time, or something that I can prep the night before and turn on in the morning, that is a full meal (I can maybe whip up a veggie side, but that's about it) that doesn't involve a ton of condensed soup. All the good looking recipes I've found involve pouring soup over everything. :(
I got the slow cooker with the idea of doing like potatoes and chicken breasts in it with liquid all at the same time, or stews with beans or pasta, but I'm not really sure how to go about that and don't want to ruin food, so I haven't tried. lol
Soups, stews, casserole-type things, whatever is fine! No food restrictions or allergies, though I am on a budget. Also, anything made with beans (presoaked or not) would be a bonus. I keep meaning to cook more with non-canned beans, but I've never done that either. lol
Give me a place to start please! Thanks in advance for any help. :)
ETA: Any ideas or recipes for deserts in the slow cooker? Is that even possible?
