Request for slow cooker bean recipes
Hello hello, from someone who's never done beans in a crock before... :) Does anyone have a favourite slow cooker bean recipe they'd care to share? Lower sugar options are preferable since my husband and I are both diabetic, but a bit of sweetening certainly won't kill us and above all we're looking for something tasty.
The only kind of bean I'd like to steer clear of is black beans since I haven't much liked their taste in the past, and because this will be my first time cooking beans "from scratch" (if the recipe calls for it) I'd also appreciate any additional prep instructions, such as soaking times.
