Crock Pot / Slow-Cooker Hot Dogs: Success!

So, today I tried making hot dogs in the crock pot. And it worked! 2 hours on HIGH and the dogs are plump, juicy, and just slightly browned. Not quite as blackened as you get from the grill, but WAY better than boiling them. Next time I may give 'em a little bit longer.

They worked just perfectly in our kitschy comfort food dinner tonight: chili cheese dogs with fritos on the side.
