I am considering cooking a whole chicken in my crock. Usually, I just roast them, but the convenience of sticking it in the crockpot just sounds sooo appealing.
So my question is...how does the chicken LOOK when it's all done? The skin doesn't brown, right? Does it look all pasty, like boiled chicken? I can't imagine that would be appetizing.
Just curious. ;)
