Well it's based on beef stuew, but we're really using Wild Game (Moose meat actually) and what I have done so far is diced onion and garlic, chopped carrots and potatos, along with the meat, beef boullion ready to be mixed with a litter water to add, soya sauce, (out of warchestershire)and freshly ground sea salt and pepper, after it's all said and done I realized I might have made it too salty, I was looking at other recipies and a lot of them suggests using tomatoe paste in stews as well. we don't have any tomatoe paste, but I was thinking we do have a variety of bbq sauces that I can give a little squirt into it. We have Garlic, Sweet and Smoky and Brown Sugar BBQ sauce. It'll be cooking on low, I will put it on at 10 when I leave for work and my bf will get home at around 3, but I don't get home until 8. (The boy is gettin gused to a new work schedual and I don't want to have him worry about supper when he has to get up at 5am and is beat after working all day)
So question is, should this be okay (I know to add a slurry afterwards to help thicken) or do you have any suggestions?
