I'm making tomato sauce in my slow cooker - this is the first time ever that I am using my slow cooker, so I could use some advice/ confirmation that I am doing this right. I used:
2 14.5 oz cans of diced tomatoes (including the liquid)
1 14.5 oz can stewed tomatoes (inc. liquid)
1 8 oz can tomato paste (plus 8 oz water)
8 oz pkg sliced mushrooms
2 cloves garlic, diced
2 cloves garli, tossed in whole
1 onion, diced
1 red pepper, diced
1 green pepper, diced
fresh oregano
fresh basil
salt/ pepper
dash of white pepper
Does it sound like I did this right? Is there anything I am missing?
