Went applepicking on Friday (or hunting as my 3 yo calls it) so, guess what I made?
apx 3 lbs apples (I just kept going until the crock looked full, peeled, sliced and cored (I used my Pampered Chef tool)
1/2 brown sugar, packed
cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice (1 tblspn or so)
lemon juice
Crock for 3 hours on high.. mash with a potato masher..
You start with apples (the pear on top was snacked on during the making of the sauce)
You fill the crock up
About half way through cooking
It's ready to come out
but first, we mash
and the finished product
