Office Potluck

What's a good crockpot recipe for an office potluck?

*EDIT* This needs to be something that can cook in 4 hours or less. (I'm bringing the crock to work at 8am for lunch at noon.)

party, appetizer

this is going to sound really lame but i've always had great success with a bag of frozen meatballs cooked overnight in the crockpot with a jar of BBQ sauce poured on top and mixed in. i never fail to bring home an empty crockpot.

No such thing as a lame suggestion! Although I actually need to edit this question... I need a recipe that will cook in 4 hours or less. (I'm bringing the crock to work at 8am for lunch at 12pm)

Thanks SO much for jumping in to help, though!

well in that case...i made a crockpot full of meatballs and little smokies last weekend to have at my daughter's birthday party. i just thawed the meatballs overnight in the fridge and then the next morning threw everything into the crockpot on high for a couple of hours :)

I make frozen meatballs for my toddler boys all the time. I put them (frozen) in the crock and cover with jarred pasta sauce. Heat on low for just 2 to 3 hours and they are thawed and heated through -- that should work for your office party.

Putting the crock on high for just 1-2 hours will cook those meatballs. I did the same for an impromptu NYE party.

Laughing -- this is exactly what I was going to suggest!

Meatballs, BBQ sauce, and maybe some finger rolls to put them on.
