that sounds absolutely delicious. i wonder if the sauce will stay creamy though? In the past i've had a hard time with any sauce in the crock staying creamy, its usually so thin from hours of cooking. ive tried corn starch to thicken but maybe im just not adding it at the right time. im so new to crock cooking that one recipe i tried last week sucked because the sauce was so thin. i think we talked about it, it was the sesame chicken one.
but im going to try it on saturday because it sounds delicious! thanks so much!
I'm new to the whole crockpot thing too, but one thing I tried last time my sauce hadn't thickened enough was taking the lid off the crock for awhile at the end. That evaporated some of the water and made the sauce a little less thin.
ah, good idea. thanks! yeah, u keep mentioning u are new to crock pots too. sorry lol, i kinda forgot this time! but ill try taking the lid off for l ike 30 minutes towards the end next time.
im going to make this saturday, so ill let you know how it turns out!
ah, i never thought of that. makes sense that the starch from the bisquits would thicken it. thanks! i plan on using probably only cream of chicken also since my boyfriend doesnt like celery OR mushrooms lol.
