This was tonight's dinner. Yum!
1 28 oz can of tomatoes with basil
1 can tomato paste
1 cup milk
healthy shake of onion powder
healthy shake of garlic powder
healthy shake or oregano
1 T. olive oil
1 T. butter
1/2 t. cayenne pepper
2 T. vodka
4 T. grated cheese
1. In a large pot or saucepan, empty 28 oz. can of tomatoes and small can of tomato paste. Mix together over low heat. Add healthy shakes of onion powder, garlic powder, and oregano. Allow to simmer over low heat.
2. In a small saucepan, melt butter into olive oil over low heat. Add milk and cayenne pepper, allow to cook together for about 5-10 min.
3. Add the milk mixture to the tomato mixture. Then add vodka and stir together. Allow to cook together for a few minutes, then add cheese.
4. Simmer together for at least one hour, but longer is better.
I originally had this on the stove and then moved it to the crock pot on low for a few hours b/c I had to go out. It was great!
