If I were thinner
And had a beautiful face,
I wouldn’t go anywhere
Or do anything.

Unless I was guaranteed
To find more beautiful things-
I could add to my insides
So I would radiate.

Like fusion within me
And the outer rays of the sun,
Beaming all over and
Lighting up everyone.

I’d be blonde and all
Bleached out from chemical rays.
And my skin would be white,
Reflecting light off my face.

I’d be blinding and marvelous
So that you couldn’t shut your eyes
Even if you tried to
You’d be enthralled in the light.
