Next Big Challenge: Kanon Character Spotlight
Apparently not having learned my lesson from the Clannad Character Reviews, after taking a week off for a break from them all, I will begin to attempt to do character spotlights on the cast of Kanon...or at least most of them. While it's been a while since I've seen Kanon, I remember enough to believe that it may be I will only do reviews of the heroines from the series; they make up the brunt of most of the action and characters anyway. Yuuchi may not get his own separate review since, unlike Tomoya, all of his 'arcs' are directly related to the girls and would so be best dealt with inside their arcs. In short, Yuuichi doesn't have daddy-issues or Ushio to give him characterization and development outside of dealing with the girls so he doesn't get a review to himself XD. There would be no storyline section since I hate repeating myself on that sort of thing :P. Obviously he will be explored; it will just be broken up amongst the girl's reviews ^_^".
Also, I'll probably be reviewing Kanon in chronological order instead of the "choose anyone I want this week" order I've done with Clannad. Mostly because in some cases, like Shiori, they get their arcs introduced a little bit during other peoples arcs; there isn't a clean cut like Clannad had. Therefore, the Chronological is so I can take notes on other girls arcs while doing the character for that week as well.
Of course, restricting myself to only the girls does shorten how many I'll do to, what, five characters? That kind of works though since in late August I'll be heading off to college, which might eat into my ability to do this. Hence why I'm doing Kanon: I like it better than AIR XD.
So then, opinions, comments?
