Just a ramble and sneak peeks.

Feb 18, 2015 01:15

Well my dear readers, these are sneak peeks to some new stuff I’ve been working on… off and on. I’ve been somewhat procrastinating on what’s already in the works and so, who knows when anything new will come from me. I’ve hit somewhat of a writer’s block but I keep coming up with new ideas and they won’t stop lol

Not really sure when I’ll begin posting new things or when I’ll be posting new chapters for what’s been in the works forever now.

Neither one of these has titles I like yet… they are just from the depths of my demented mind that just seemed like good ideas. These were done mostly for my entertainment and so… I may or may not post any of these.

I think sometime this weekend or next week, I’ll be posting more sneak peeks. That one though will be sneak peeks from chapters that are in the works for the Dragon Verse, Give Into Me and Trying Not to Love You.

Let me know what you guys think of these ^^

And sorry I hadn’t answered your guys comments… like I said, I’ve been a procrastinating ^^;

The first idea… this had flourished from another one shot, which I had originally wanted to do as a Halloween fic. At the last moment, I decided I wanted to make it like five or so chapters; so I decided to keep this to myself for the time being. From there, I wanted to do sort of a foreword of the small series.

This is a piece of that foreword.

Giving a tilt of his head, he leaned back against the tree, a foot hanging and swinging back and forth as he continued to observe the bustling of humans. As he watched from his high perch in the green foliage of the tree, he took notice to a young boy with a young girl. The two played and laughed with one another outside a small home with smoke rising from the flue. Immediately, the white eared being presumed they were siblings.

Another twitch of his ears, the kitsune straightened and continued to gaze after the two children curiously. Something about the children had captured his attention and he found that he was unable to turn from the sight. So eagerly, he kept blue and gold eyes trained on the small humans.

That’s when suddenly, he noticed the way the young boy glanced toward the home, picked up his toy and took the young girls hand. The young black haired child tugged on the other chubby hand and the two children wandered away from the village in the direction of the river.

A frown quickly worked its way onto the kitsune’s face. A quick look around in the immediate vicinity, the kitsune’s body went misty and faded into the body of a white fox with black tipped ears and a tail. The animal dropped from the branch of the trees and chased after the two children into the woods near the village.

Trotting through the brush in the direction of the river, the white kistune slipped through a low opening of shrubbery. Coming to a slow stop as his large white ears picked up on the laughter of the two children and he peered through the foliage. The two children were right on the edge of the strong river, playing without a care in the world.

It taking all but a quick moment and the two fell into the rapids of the river with screams. The white kitsune darted out of his hiding spot and ran along the slippery moss covered rocks, trying to keep pace with the furious river. The choking screams of the young boy and young girl barely audible over the raging waters.

What was he going to do? There was no way he’d be able to save them both.

Looking ahead of him, the white kitsune spotted a fallen tree hanging over the rapids. A quick plan formed in his head as he pushed his body to run ahead of the two children in the river. Reaching the large fallen tree, the animal scrambled up, balancing himself as the young girl came into sight and the white fox bit down on the fabric of the girls clothing.

Drawn into a tug of war with the soaked child and the river, the kitsune used all his strength, pulling the young girl out of the water. Never releasing his hold, he dragged the small body to the banks of the river, far away from the edge.

The scream of the young boy still going down river caught the kitsune’s attention. Quickly looking back to the whimpering girl, he again was left to decide on what to do. The kitsune could not just leave the young girl here alone, the thought was forgotten though when he heard the shouting of men.

Nearby villagers must have heard the screaming of the children. The acknowledgment made up the kitsune’s mind and he dashed off once more down the banks of the river, desperate in catching up with the young human boy.

There was a moment the blue and gold eyed kitsune had lost sight of the boy, but, when the boy had come back up screaming, he had no choice but to go in after the boy. The small body of the human couldn’t withstand the cold raging waters of the river much longer. And with that steadfastness, the white kitsune dove in after the small child, paddling as hard as he could in the raging current.

It took a lot out of the kitsune, but, it was worth the effort as he finally reached the young boy. He could see that the body of the boy was worn and was just about to give up. Sharp teeth clamped down on the back of the human’s collar and the white fox pulled and tugged with all he had to keep the small body above water.

It wasn’t much longer before the river came to calmness and the kitsune pulled the unconscious body to shore. Collapsing, the kitsune’s body morphed back to a young man and with exhausted pants, he pulled boy further away from the river. Satisfied, he collapsed beside the human and gazed up at the bright blue sky.

Slowly sitting up, blue and gold eyes looked down on the young human. The boy wasn’t moving, neither was he breathing and the kitsune panicked. Pulling the young boy to him, he looked him over. What was he going to do? The kitsune couldn’t let the boy die, he just couldn’t. The boy was an innocent.

Pressing a hand to the frail chest of the child, the young kitsune focused his energy.  He couldn’t just leave the boy to die. Saving a human went against everything he ever knew, but, he was just a child.

Nothing happened as he shoved his energy into the boy, beginning to panic even more until there was a gasp. Eyes snapped open and the young boy began to cough harshly, spitting up the water that had gathered in his lungs. Relief washed through the kitsune and he pulled the human boy to him, cradling the frail body of the boy. He was alive.

Pushing back wet black hair, the kitsune gazed into the pale face of the boy. The boy was alive.

The second idea… this was something I had wanted to do for the longest time, but, I just could never get the words down right. I had managed to get a good amount typed up, although I am far from satisfied from what I have typed. I haven’t figured out the exact route I wanted to take with this because I am considering making this another small chaptered fic.

A part of me wants to do sort of a… science fiction kind of thing but then, a historical fiction seems like a better thought process lOl anyways, here it is.

“Hello,” a man with a jet black hair approached the teller window with a genuine smile. “How are you today, handsome?”

“Good afternoon, sir,” Takanori returned the greeting with his best smile, “I am fine; how are you and how may I help you today?”

“I am fine as well,” the man returned with a small smirk. Leaning against the counter, he slipped one of the banks withdrawal slips toward the bank teller, “I’d like to make a withdrawal and I’d greatly appreciate your help.”

“Of course,” Taka hummed, reaching off to the side for a pen and paper. Writing a few words before taking the note that had been slid toward him, “and how much are you-” Taka’s voice cut off as he saw the words scribbled on the paper and he felt himself pale.

“All that you’ve got,” the smirk widened, pointing the barrel of the pistol at the brunette.

Suddenly, multiple shots of warning were fired, women screamed in horror and a voice boomed over the commotion. Four other men came into the bank, all of them wearing bandana’s that covered all but their eyes.  Every single of the men had a gun, all five of them looking as dangerous and vicious as can be.

“Everyone on the fucking ground; now!” one of them hollered over the commotion.

Men, women and children first reactions were to run then to listen to the robbers. Another round of shots and bodies dropped to the floor in fear. Takanori’s reaction would have been to drop to the floor as well and hide, but the man made a sound and pointed the gun right at his face.

“No, not you, handsome,” the raven snickered, jumping up onto the counter.

Two of the other robbers, one with a grey fedora pulled low and dirty blonde hair peeking from beneath the rim and the other with a brown newsboy hat hopped onto the counter, aiming the shotguns they held at the rest of the tellers; “the rest of you into the office, now!”

Taka looked around him in horror as the rest of his coworkers looked at him sympathetically and made their way towards one of the offices. None of them seeming to be moving fast enough as the dirty blonde fired a round and then they all begin to rush for the cramp space.

“You, you fat piece of shit,” the man snarled at Mister Richardson, aiming the shotgun, “give me the keys.”

The heavy set man did so without a fight. Quickly handing the ring of keys to the masked man, who then tossed the set to another man with a black trilby hat walking around the counter casually. Taka eyed the man intently, trying to catch a glimpse of his face but was unable to.

Jumping as the muzzle of the pistol was pushed into his back; the bank teller looked over his shoulder at the raven haired man. Giving a jerk of his head, he ordered the brunette, “Open up the safe.”

Shaking his head, Taka tried to lie, “I don’t know how. I just-”

“Let’s not make this any harder than need to be,” dark eyes narrowed in warning. Giving the body another hard push with the pistol, “we’ve been watching you and we know you can open up the safe; now do it.”

Swallowing, he walked towards the man with the black trilby hat, taking the keys and chancing one more look at that face. Taka only caught a flash of brown eyes before turning away and going towards the safe, biting down on his bottom lip hard. Taking a deep breath, he inserted the key into the safe, turning it one way, hearing the click.

“The combination,” the man wearing the black trilby ordered gruffly.

Squeezing his eyes shut, he meekly reached up and grasped the dial. Jumping as the man behind him repeated in a much louder voice, “The combination!”

Quickly, Taka twisted the dial one way, then the other and then back. Again, hearing the click, he grasped the handle, pushed it down and pulled open the heavy door. Right away, he was pushed aside as the two blondes rushed into the vault with bags, stuffing as much money as they could in a short amount of time.

“Put down your weapons!” someone suddenly ordered.

The three other robbers turned to the person, finding a security guard who apparently came back early from his break. Neither one of the robbers flinched or panicked at the sight of the man, in fact, one of the robbers in a white fedora turned to the guard and without a thought, shot the man.

Cringing as he watched the blood flow out of the body of the man, Taka just about collapsed in shock and fear. He’d never seen someone get shot; he’d never thought he’d ever see someone die right before his eyes.

This just was not Takanori’s day.

“Alright, we’re done,” the two blonde’s came back out.

The grey fedora wearing man tossed his bag up to the raven haired man, while the black trilby wearing man hopped up and over the counter without a word. Right away, the brunette released a heavy sigh of relief, just about dropping dead on his feet from the adrenaline and fear, when a hand gripped his bicep tightly and pulled him forward.

“You’re coming with us,” the raven head smirked at the bank teller.

Fear seized Taka’s heart and immediately, he began to fight with the man. “No; let me go!”

“You stupid fuck,” the man grunted. Bringing the pistol up and hitting the resisting man hard in the temple.
