But real talk, here's why XD
First and foremost the plot is delicious, I haven't read a vamp anything in ages they're sparking and depressed 90% of the time BUT
this is interesting, I didn't know how the story was gonna go so kept me on edge!!
I love the plot. Love the fact that Ruki is a vampire and is unapologetic about it. Reita is just a normal mortal who's straight. I like that they're not all gaga over the vampire, it's realistic.
If a thing wanted to kill me, i dont care if its 5'3 blonde, wrapped in red, wearing stockings; iM HAULING ASS.
That part with Tora tho......as soon as Ruki said he was keeping Reita I felt cold, dread run through me.
It needed to be done tho. And I liked that you're unapologetic about it too XD



ALSO, Reita dressed as his Prey. Kinda caught that foreshadowing *winky face*
honesty I couldn't tell, it would've been either vamp or wolf bc of the costumes but yay vamps!!
The end:
What the fuck did Ruki think was gonna happen(was my initial thought)
but then realized Ruki didn't know Reita and Tora were living together or that they were step-siblings.
Im all for reituki but I'm curious to how this'll go down considering he just killed one and only family member........I probably have more to say but I'm gonna stop.

I'd hoped the costumes had given that little bit of guessing of what was possibly coming.
Nope, our malicious little shit didn't even pick up on the two being related or even living with each other. Killing of a brother and not even knowing it. Oh sweet promised drama~ (with hopes of blood and possibly maiming)

So after reading it again and calming down I have a quick question; so i know ruki says its 'tradition' but I was wondering if it was like 'hazing' to get into a vampire coven?
Which made me wonder:
-was ruki alone prior to this, is ruki a fairly new vamp(or was he walking along this earth for forevers yo), etc etc
-bc then i kinda get where that heartless-ness would come from. ruki also shows sign of selfishness by claiming reita as his(undertone: only his)

so was just wondering if this was some form of hazing to join or just, like, a rite of passage of a coven.

Yeah, in a way it is like hazing to get in.
I mean what better way is there to get in than to lure some unsuspecting souls to a human buffet ^^

We may never know if Ruki was alone prior or he's a new vampire XD
