Lessons on being brave
I remember one of the songs I learned in My Masterpiece: "It's time to say goodbye, it's time to say goodbye, hope to see you soon my friend..." It goes on and on until all the kids leave the room and the teachers fall into a pile in the corner, exhausted.
Today I decided to trust God and live out all the metaphors that life has been throwing at me.
Jumping off a cliff
Letting go of the branch
Releasing the butterfly
Setting free
And it's still pretty jarring but at the end of the day, God is holding my hand in the freefall, telling me that everything will be alright.
I believe in Him.
