I mean, we affect each other even when you don't mean to, even when we don't want to. We're connected, you see, even when we try to be unaffected.
The universe is accelerating at such a rate that someday eventually it will fly apart and all matter will just drift alone and become disconnected. And how sad that would be if human beings were to behave in a similar fashion. And after considerable inner debate, I find that the risks of human contact are more than compensated for by the rewards.
This is something Coleen posted for me on Multiply. She got it from a television show. I had been trying to deconstruct it since last night until the epiphany finally hit me five minutes ago:
We are all cut from the same mold. No matter the distance, we are still connected. So don't be afraid to get tangled in another human being's life.
Life's too short. Live it.
