Christmas as a TAMALE..
So.... this holiday season I decided to be green... so my cards were made with post-consumer materials. I think they came out nice... anyone who got one should send me a pic of it (Jay?) so I can re-post it here.
I didn't get a Christmas tree this year. I not only have no space but I also wanted to do something different. So... I wrapped my bike with the lights I had for the tree. I killed two birds with one shot. Yes!
Tomorrow I'm having a get together... and you are all welcome to come...
Christmas parties this year... a lot. As a matter of fact, I think I have had more than previous years. I've been partying non-stop since last Saturday.
Saturday was the German reunion/rooftop party. It was nice that it coincided with some snow fall. Germans are drama when drunk... one got a ticket at the train station for littering, which he was not doing, but.. I guess the cop thought he was rowdy and deserved a ticket.
Sunday it was at my dad's... we had a sort of small party between the two of us as we decorated his Christmas tree.
Monday it was a get together with PK classmates... oh.. they are always fun.
Tuesday it was the 20something christmas party bobertz's meeting at G Lounge.
Wednesday I went to see Bobby do the talent competion at Therapy. He was invited by Peppermint the night before to do the contest. And the contest was great... but a big drag queen ruled... I don't know what the crowd saw in her... Any takes, Bobby?
Thursday it was Tim's housewarming party.... which was nice... however; it was interesting to attend a housewarming thrown by two 18 y/o and one 23 y/o (tim). It's just a different vibe. I must say that most of the guest were above 23. I met the guy who does the weather forecast on Channel 7 (WABC). He was very good looking.
Friday it was my job's Christmas party... and OMG... it was worth waiting for it... (last year we didn't have one)
We went to this high-end Mexican restaurant calle Pampano. All they serve for drinks is Tequila. I couldn't resist to have a few Don-Julio-tequila Margaritas. I had ceviche as well.. and it was like heaven... Oh.. so good! It's been like ten years since I had ceviche.
We had a Secret Santa at work.. I got a $25 Best Buy card. I don't know what to do with it. ... Speaking of gift cards... I've accumulated a few since my b'day. I have $120 to go to Express and $50 to Old Navy. I've received through the mail holiday cards from Gene, Paolo, and Gary.
Care Bear got me an autographed calendar of Amanda Lepore... oh.. how much I love that tranny!!!
But all I wished this season was I could feed everybody a tamale... uhm... they are delicious... with some guacamole and some sour cream... yay!
