(no subject)
At the airport in Bangkok. We board in 30 minutes for a 5 hour flight to Seoul. We were going to go around Seoul and what not but we discovered Tuesday is kind of like Sunday at all the cool stuff is closed. So to be true to ourselves, we booked a hotel room so that we could sleep. Well it's not really a hotel, it's like a bed in a room that we book for 2-6 hour intervals so that we can sleep. I wish we were flying to Narita/Tokyo so we could sleep in one of those awesome pod hotels.
I'm sad to leave Thailand/Laos and my family, mostly my aunt and my cousins Kwan and Julie. I didn't even know I had a cousin my age until I met Julie. Now I'm like 'think of all the wasted time!!!!!' but it's all good. We share the same love of shopping and drinking so all is good. I feel like the 3 of us are a bad joke "A French girl, Thai girl, and American walk into a bar and.....". We went shopping at Platinum in Bangkok today. If you haven't heard of it, you should google it. There are 2500 shops inside of it. It's like someone stuck 5 costcos together and was like 'clothes and accessories, here shall you live!'. I bought a dress, 6 necklaces, a head band, 12 pairs of earring, a Totoro neck brace pillow thing, and a case for my iRiver all for $40. ;___; I love this country. I also have 2 new purses, bracelets, and a bunch of silk scarves courtesy of my aunts. (*cough* and the 32 jerseys smashed into a suitcase)
I signed up to do Cornerflag and I'm like 'fuck, a deadline' and then I was like 'oh fuck, secret santa exchange'. Couldn't write smut on this trip but I'll do SS exchange when I get home and finish Cornerflag on the airplane trip. 6 hours to Seoul, 10 hours layover, 12 hours to Seattle, 3 hours break, and then 4 hours of class. Oh joy of joys. I'm writing OsvaldoAlonso/AlvaroFernandez for interested parties.... *crickets*
