Craziness
AHHHHH!!!! I'm sooooo excited right now! I just got my internship placement for next semester and I'm uber happy, excited, anxious, etc....
I'll be teaching first graders in a school nearby next semester! :)
A lot has happened since my last actual lj post...I guess I should update more often eh?
First off, I had a wonderful thanksgiving full of friends, family, and as always awesome home cooking! The one sad thing about Thanksgiving was the fact that my memaw who has been at thanksgiving dinner all my life was unable to come since she was in the hospital and her immune system isn't functioning properly (for those of you who don't know, she has had lung cancer for almost a year now and the doctors just found out this past week that it has spread into her pancreas :( )
I worked during my break which wasn't very fun at all (clearancing merchandise for 16 hours is no fun, especially when you hafta scan each and every item >< ) but I hafta make money to pay for next semesters books and car payments. I bought my grandmother's car over the weekend and although it is bittersweet (good that I got a different car, bad that she no longer has one because of her condition)
But alas, everything happens for a reason and before you know it life has past you by...hopefully I'll update more often in the future...
