Nashville Supernatural Convention
About a week ago I went to the Supernatural convention in Nashville, TN. I had a really great time despite having terrible food poisoning and having to miss a few panels. I took lots of pictures but I narrowed them down to make a short little picspam if any is interested. They probably are similar to all the other pictures posted from the event but you can never have too many pics of hot boys.
First up was Karaoke with Richard and Matt. I didn't really have any opinions on either of them prior to karaoke. I did think Matt was crazy attractive but that was about it. After watching like ten seconds of them together, I fell in love. Unfortunately my illness decided to begin during karaoke so I had to leave early because I was feeling like I might pass out, and how embarrassing would that be? So we only stayed for like 4 songs, but it was a lot of fun and they were both SO very cute.
The worst of whatever I had hit me Friday night so by Saturday I was running on no sleep or food and mostly spent the day in bed until the Jared and Jensen panel that I almost could not make myself go to, but I really didn't want to miss those gorgeous boys. I thought the panel was kind of boring. The boys were really cute as always but I didn't walk away from the panel with glee but maybe that was because I felt like I was dying. haha.
I missed Matt and Richard's panel because I was in line for Jared and Jensen's autographs and then I went back to the room to rest up again. I got Jensen and Jared and later Misha to sign a Holy Water flask I bought a few weeks ago. The security guard for Jensen asked to see what I had to sign, I was afraid he'd say it wasn't allowed or something but he said it was cool. haha. Jensen just smiled when I handed it to him and I was too afraid to tell him where to sign so he signed in the middle. When I went to Jared I told him that Jensen took up all the space and he said "He sure did." then flipped the flask over, smiled and said "Oh, cool." That was the extent of my J2 time. Pretty lame but still they were so hot up close.
Next up was Richard and Matt autograph time. I think they were the best part of the convention. Well those two and Misha. I was feeling pretty crappy while waiting forever for them to talk to everyone in line so when I finally made it to Matt I didn't have anything to say and I just kind of wanted to get it over with so I just gave him my picture and stood there. After he signed the pic I had, he looked at me with a smile and held out a chocolate candy. He said "And this is for you." It was so cute. Matt's cuteness cheered me up enough to tell Richard how much I loved Band of Brothers and he said a quick "thank you" as he drew in my notebook.
On Sunday I was still feeling horrible, worst food poisoning ever! But, I had a photo op with Misha that I forced myself to go to. Okay well it wasn't hard to force myself to go stand with Misha. He was SO cute up close! His eyes are gorgeous. I look absolutely star struck in the picture but at least I had Misha's arm around me for like ten seconds.
I went back to bed again after the photo-op and got some chicken noodle soup from room service, oh yeah I haven't mentioned yet how awesome the hotel was! It was really beautiful and I hope to go back again someday so I can explore it properly. Anyway, I left the room again to see the end of Richard, Brock and Chad's panel.
Then it was time for Misha's panel. He was so hilarious. I love him SO much. He seemed to cure me for the time he was onstage and I even started to feel better after his panel too! I think he has magical powers.
After Misha's panel, I spent more time in the room until autograph time. Even though I missed Jason Mann's concert I got his autograph and I also got two Misha autographs (one on the flask, he called it "lovely") and autographs from Brock and Corin.
And that brings my convention story to a close. It took me a few days of rest to get my body back to its old self but now I feel better and I'm pretty bummed that I wasn't myself at the convention. I would have liked to go to more events and have more fun, but I did enjoy myself and maybe I'll go to another one someday.
