At the end of the month, we are going to spend the weekend in Dublin. We were going to do this over the last bank holiday weekend, but got rather confused with dates and such, so it got put back. Ha - snap! We'll be there for Hard Working Class Heroes, which is a music festival (not the muddy field variety) for unsigned Irish bands. Would highly recommend it, based on last year's experience. You can get one-night and three-night tickets for not very much money.

Otherwise, the Guinness Storehouse isn't cheap (then again, neither is most of Dublin), but well worth a visit. The Museum of Modern Art is rather good, if you like that kind of thing. O'Connell street for shops and the Millennium Spire. Temple Bar area for pubs, bars and loads of live music. The Book of Kells is supposed to be awesome (although we haven't seen this yet). Maybe get one of the bus tours - the tickets are valid for twenty-four hours - they don't use pre-recorded tour guides, rather the bus driers give the tour as they drive. Useful way to get around the city. St Stephens Green is a nice place to go relax too.

Might be a chance to meet up and introduce you guys to DH at some point? Unless you're there for a big weekend of lovin', in which case, we'll leave you to it :-)

Ah, I dimly recall you saying you were going again, but had no idea which weekend it was.

Would definitely be good to meet up at some point. :)
