I am working in the sticks. Apparently there is one shop in the Rubery/Longbridge/Northfield area in which you can buy travelcards, and they were out of what I needed. I shall spare you a description of traipsing down the Bristol Road from place to place to see if anywhere did have them, but it was not big on the fun. Next time I want to purchase anything, city centre it is. I got home 2hrs 45 after finishing work, which is not what I had in mind for today and my headache. I did finally retrieve my mug from the last place of work, and that wasn't as uncomfortable as I had expected, so that would be a bonus if my brain was up to processing things.
The moral of the story is - don't get up at 6.40 on a Saturday morning due to hunger, then be unable to nap in the day, then go to cinema on a Sunday afternoon for a 2.30 film which turns out not to be on cos of a fire or something, and so decide to watch Pirates at 4.15 so the trip out isn't a waste, but then want to cry and be in bed on getting out at 7.30 but needing to go to the pub to eat something, and then on getting home at 9 going straight to bed in a state while your sainted boyfriend makes you salad to take to work. Or perhaps something that makes sense. Anyway, Pirates was quite entertaining and it was lovely to see
hawleygriffen.
I wonder if my body will let me be in bed at 9pm again tonight. Argh.
Oh, work is ok though quite dull. This afternoon had quite put that out of my head.
