Birthday time
Today I turn 30. Go me! As I am an old bastard most of the time, I think hitting my 30's is going to suit me, and make it slightly more appropriate when I complain about loud music in bars and why would anyone want to go out and not be able to talk to people anyway?

I had a very nice weekend at the Palace, seeing lovely southern types I'd not seen in far too long. Thank you Hoggy and Sus for putting on the weekend, and everyone else for making Eurovision lots of fun. Wiiing also good (not sure yet if I am going to have to spend the next month talking Dan out of buying one). Bad thing was I had a migraine from the Saturday morning (apologies for being an awkward sod early in the afternoon about lunch), which is only just finishing up. I haven't had a four day episode in a while :(
EDIT: Okay, I just got told I lost the job as they got someone else in from today. Which is unfortunate, but it was really dull and on less money than I wanted so I shall try and concentrate on that and not on me being crap. Must go in and rescue my chaucer mug at some point later in the week. Siobhan my very nice agency lady was nice about it, and said she did try to get them to keep me and is already looking into a couple of things for me. So back to waiting for phone calls it is.
