first of all its, irresponsible, no unresponsible. but thats besides the point. but here is my two cents... you say "I spent so much time complaining about what was going on, that I didn't realize that I was actually experiencing one of the greatest time of my life"...
well i think this can be applied to every single day of life.
i can vouche that it can definitly be applied to college. i love being poor, i love eating ramon noodles, i love gathering quarters for laundry, i love waiting at the train stop for 15 minutes in the freezing cold jsut to wait for the el to finally arrive, then stop half way on the destination to my class, being late, ect. ect. ect.
i love it because its life and life is beautiful. its just seems that too often everyone complains about the present, and glorifies the past. where will we get if we do that? i love being the poorest college kid ever in a huge city and barely being able to afford to eat once a day. i love it. its better than highschool. i recommend it. i wouldnt recommend high school again to anyone, if you want to experience similar times to high school, go to college. college is fun times of high school times a fucking million. oh, and you can definitly skip class and fake a doctors note...
Um, I'm having trouble figuring out how your comment has anything to do with what I said, other than the part about my grammar.
When did I say I spent so much time complaining about what was going on, that I didn't realize that I was actually experiencing one of the greatest time of my life? If think you're thinking I'm the original poster.

Couldn't agree more.
But I know you, and you cannot disagree that even though High School was a different experience than College (College for you, being an even better one) that High School was still an experience all its own. You may not want to repeat it, but would you take it back? Because High School means something to everyone, whether they liked it or not, you learned something and took it with you. How different would you be if you never experienced it. What lessons would you have missed?
i agree. its another portion of our journey through life.. most people in our world experience highschool, and i think its essential. all im saying is there is more. more that can be even better if you let it... after high school what we do and how we live is definitly a reflection of the things we learned and experienced through highschool. they will all get it soon...
