Looking for a new rug or bed linens?

My friend Purple, who is staying with us at the moment and is kind of hard up right now is selling some stuff on Craigslist to try to pay his bills. He has two brand new funky looking rugs, some brand new sheets and a new comforter for sale. If you're in the area (MA, VT, NH, wherever), let me or him know ( Read more... )

sale, craigslist

You will, no worries. I just had another house guest last night actually. I have two futons for you to choose from and a loft. :-)

Though, I just thought of something... we're taking in a couple of pets for a couple of weeks. I'm not sure if they'll be here by that weekend of not. One is a cat and one is a smaller dog. Will Val be okay with them if they're still here? If not, I'm sure we can figure something out. He said that he could take them elsewhere for a while if it's inconvenient to have them some days.

a loft? i do no recall a loft. maybe i am just dense.

valkyrie is great with cats. as long as they leave her alone she won't cower too much! :) the dog shouldn't be a real issue. she is normally very good with other dogs. but i am bringing a crate for her anyway so if it is an issue she can always be crated. honestly, we won't be at the house very much. have to be out at the trial at like 6:30a and won't be back until 6pm. long days.

The loft is in the room with the wood stove. If you look up, you'll see it. It's above the room where David has all his books and CDs.

Sounds like a looooong day. Is there a chance that I could come watch you?

i don't remember there being a loft up there but i know where you are talking about.
it is a long day. a ton of waiting for your two minutes or less in the ring.
of course you can come and watch! but i warn you- it can be very boring waiting to watch. seriously. i enjoy it because i know the people and the dogs and understand the whole agility thing. i usually bring a good book and the radio so that i don't get too bored between my runs. i'll probably be there 12hrs and i only have 5 runs each day. so about 10 minutes of each day i will actually be doing something.
hrm... do you take pictures?
