Les Paul died yesterday. He invented The solid body Electric guitar, Multi track recording and pretty much everything taken for granted in modern music. Far smarter people than me would have a hard time thinking of a popular musician of the last 50 years who does not owe at least part of their career to him. All of my favorite musicians and bands owe it all to him. He is the one who should have the staples center packed for his funeral. He shoulda had a chimp.
