(no subject)
so in one of the vegan comms on lj i belong to (you know, in hopes one day i can get back to it), there have been discussions today on the making of the best Nut Cheese.
BWAAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA. of course i dare not point out to these women that they are all having this very serious conversation bout NUT CHEESE. bah. one more reason i didn't make it as a vegan- they have very little sense of humor. i suppose the lack of protein affects the part of the brain that processes the funneh.
NUT CHEESE.
ok, it is still funny to me. no matter how many times i type NUT CHEESE, it is still funny.
and they go on and on and on about the different types of nuts you can use to make NUT CHEESE. and how creamy and good NUT CHEESE is.
they are going to take my computer away from me.
the cooking front hasn't been going to well. both of us caught a nasty cold, me first, then him....so our diet has been a lot of canned soup. i caved and bought fancypantsy premade hot soup from the take away dept at sessels (which i regretted as the rest of hte evening i could still taste brocoli moneray jack cheese soup. blarg) we also had byb because i was exhausted....there was also taco bell sunday night after i'd been drug around by an 11 year old and 8 year old all day and didn't feel good.
last night we did manage to cook....we bought two of the biggest fanciest steakest ever from the butcher dept at kroger....like out of the glass case and everything. and two stuffed poatatoaotaoates. L grilled the steaks and holy fuck they were good. giant tho...i only ate half mine.
we got the stuff to make sphegetti sauce....well L did...i can make a spegheti sauce, but L seems to already have everything needed memorized, and since he is italian, and offered...well, why not let him do the work. the only caveat was that i have to cook the noodles. i can live with that.
i'm tired of feeling sick. i hope it passes soon.
