all last night and this morning i've had a klf/JAMS/timelords song looping in my head.
i'm really really really tired of hearing tammy wynette in my head going 'all bound for mu mu land....they drive an ice cream van....all bound for mu mu land...."
like, couldn't my head loop the ENTIRE song...or maybe a mashup with mu mu and what time is love?????
and yes, stuff like klf and jesus jones are still some of my favorite bands. no one believes me, but i truly believe it it hadnt' been for jesus jones doubt album, i would never have eventually come to love industrial music.
yeah i know..i just linked jesus jones to rivet head music....well, if you'd bought that album instead of just turning up FM100 every time they played that god awful right here, right now song in 1991 you'd all about how "weird" that album sounded...and i say 'weird' because at 10 or 11, i'd never heard music with all sorts of strange noises. listening to the album now, it doesn't seem as exotic or unusual...but i still do listen to it, all these years later.
