Hong Kong

I don't have enough time to do this justice, but I'm sitting in a the "Business Center" of my hotel here in this metropolis built on an archipelago, wondering what to say... perhaps I'll just summarize and ramble about my trip since I don't have to be at dinner for 16 minutes. I'm in Hong Kong too!! What are the odds? PS-- It's way too damn hot and the city smells weird. Hmm... perhaps I should mention this is Sarah Scharf. Have fun!

it smells so weird. though different parts of it smell of different things - there's the streets that smell like pee, the sidewalks above subways that, well... smell like they're above subways, and the ones that smell like a variety of strange chinese fruits and vegetables. You might also find it interesting that we were walking down one of these streets right after it had poured for 10 minutes and my sister randomly said "water, water everywhere... and not a drop to drink." I knew I had heard it before and was repeating it to myself when my mom told me it was Coleridge: "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner or something." Neither knew we had read it. Regardless, as you can see I'm bored, but I'm in Thailand now. Where'd you stay?
