-CHAPTER 16-
“Good moooorning world!” I said to the city through my balcony window. Waking up this morning I had an epiphany. Actually, it was more like a general realization that it’s been a while since I’ve felt relaxed. Three days of constant stress is very unhealthy for the mind so I’ve decided that whatever situations I face today, I will try to remain calm. Hopefully, I will.

Before I entered class today, I took in a big breath.
Calm, serenity and happiness. Yes… nice thoughts…
And then I walked in only to be greeted by not one, but two packages.
“Calmmmmm. Yes, just like that…” I meditated and walked to my desk. I succeeded to not cringe at the two packages taking the totality of the space on my desk.
One of the two packages is blue today. Hm, maybe Euna realized that giving pink packages to a male student day after day doesn’t exactly please him? But the other package is still pink. Maybe she ran out of wrapping paper then? I chuckled to myself at the thought of Euna, being the rich and influential girl she is, and still running out of wrapping paper.
Oh well.
I sat down and put the two packages on the floor. I sat up straight and smiled to myself.
My goal today: Get to Yunho to get to Euna to get her to stop sending me stuff and to return her money. Wow, everything is more complicated in the world of rich people. You need to do so much just to return money. I wonder how complicated it’d be when you actually have to pay someone then.

Class went really smoothly today. Even math class. I guess that there is an advantage to being Yunho’s fake friend after all. It surprised me how nobody bothered me today.
“C’mon Jaejoong! Let’s go eat lunch!” Junsu said cheerfully to me. IU was trailing behind us with an impish smile. I wonder what she watched this time.
I went to my locker, and put my stuff inside and took out my lunches; I made two today again. I told Junsu and IU to wait for me at the table so they went on first.
As I walked in the cafeteria, I headed to Yunho’s table first. He and his bunch of friends were all genuinely surprised to see me standing in front of them, not even angry.
“Hi” I said to Yunho.
“Um. Hi…!” he said, probably not expecting me to greet him at all.
“Do you think I could talk to you after school?” I asked him calmly.
“Oh… um… sure…!” he said, still a little surprised and confused.
“K, great” I said, “see you later dude” I said in a manly way so that his friends wouldn’t ask him too many questions later on; they probably think it’s unusual that Yunho would suddenly hang out with a guy that’d try to “steal his girlfriend-to-be” and be uber friendly with him. Maybe if I act manlier, they think that I’m just a very chill guy?
I sat down at my table. The trio was looking at me strangely.
“Did you just go to talk with Yunho?” Changmin said, a little incredulous.
“Its love I tell you!” IU preached.
“Hahaha, what have you been watching lately to say that?” I asked, poking her cheek.
“My new current obsession of course! Boys love!” she said, with a big grin.
“Boys love?” I asked “what’s that?” and then regretted asking when I saw a glint in her eyes.
“Well you see…it’s when there are two guys who are in that kind of relationship” she said, raising her eyebrows suggestively. Junsu almost immediately started blushing profusely.
“Why... do you even like that?” I asked IU.
“I don’t know… I think that the more the love is “forbidden” the more you feel like it has value” she told me, excited.
“Haha, love has value? Isn’t it one of those things that you can’t buy?” I asked.
“Yeah… but you know what I mean”
“Mm… okay. Anyways, I think I’ll start eating now” I announced so that the conversations would cease for a while.
I opened my lunch, but before I could dig in, somebody flopped onto the seat next to me. Unfortunately for me, it was Yunho. What does this guy want now?
“Hey, sorry for bothering you guys, but I need to discuss something with Jaejoong” Yunho said in a friendly way. He then turned to me.
“What?” I said “didn’t we already establish that we’d meet after school?” I asked and took a mouthful of my lunch.
“Yeah, but you didn’t say where” For once, he was right.
“Oh… you’re right. Got any ideas?” I asked him so that he would do the talking and I would do the eating.
“Mm… maybe that café-“ Yunho started, but before he could finish his sentence, somebody else flopped next to him. It’s one of those good looking friends of his.
“Yo, sup Yunho!” he said with a big grin. “Hey there” he then said to the rest of us. We waved except for Junsu who made a weird half-moaning kind of sound. I looked at him; his breath had hitched and he seemed nervous. I then looked back at Yunho’s friend.
“So this is Park Yoochun, huh?” I thought.
“So, you comin’ to the club tonight?” Yunho’s friend asked him.
“Uh…” Yunho looked at me and I shrugged.
“C’mon… there’ll be girlssss~ ~ ~” Yoochun said suggestively. My first impression of Yoochun isn’t a very good one. Poor Junsu.
Yunho glared at Yoochun scarily.
“Ok…. I know, I know, you’re only interested in Euna and blablabla, but c’mon! I already told the chicks that you’d be there! Some of them are probably just coming because you’re there, too!” Yoochun said to convince Yunho or something like that.
Yunho sighed.
“Jaejoong, do you think it would be alright to meet in the club?” he asked me. Uh, hell no. I have moral standards.
“No.” I said with a tone of finality to my voice.
“Aww c’mon dude! It’s going to be funnnn! There’ll be chicks!” Yoochun said to convince me, though it most definitely wasn’t the right way to convince me.
“Do I look like a desperately horny teenager to you?” I asked him. Yoochun seemed to be taken aback by the sarcastic and direct question.
“Sheesh man, are you like gay or something? Stop being so uptight all the time!” Yoochun said.
Calm, serenity, happiness, calm, serenity, happiness …
“Yoochun-sshi. I am a 16 years old teenager, okay? I never even drank alcohol in my life and I never dated either and you expect me to go to a club with you to live the life of a dishonest middle-aged man or the life of a playboy?” I told him while trying to keep my voice as calm as possible.
“Dude, what’s you’re problem-“ Yoochun is starting to get a little angry now.
“Yoochun” Yunho stopped him “Jaejoong, you don’t necessarily have to do anything in the club, you just have to meet me there” Yunho said. It seems like Yunho does have some diplomatic skills afters all.
“Well I think that-“ I started, about to refuse adamantly, when IU suddenly coughed very loudly.
I looked at her. She was making signs with her eyes towards Junsu who seemed like a sad little puppy now. Oops, maybe it wasn’t very tactful of me to bitch the person he likes in front of him. Even though the person he likes is a douchebag. A 16 years old, pimp and alcohol drinking--… calm, serenity, happiness…
I sighed.
“Alright. I’ll go” I said and Yoochun nearly yelled “asa!*” “but only if I get to bring Junsu along” I added.
*(Alright! Hurrai! In Korean)
Yoochun and Yunho both looked at Junsu.
“Junsu-sshi?” Yunho asked, looking at Junsu who first looked very confused, but then nodded shyly after IU gave him an elbow nudge.
“Cool!” Yoochun said, looking at Junsu “Hey, and you’re pretty cute looking too, maybe you can help us pick up more chicks!” Yoochun said and I wanted to slap him.
“Alright, we’ll pick you up at your house tonight” Yunho told me.
“What? Why my house? You don’t even know where it is anyways” I told him.
“I remember where it is from when I sent you home last time” he told me with a polite smile.
Calm, serenity, happiness, calm, serenity, happiness, calm, serenity, happiness… aw fuck it! NO!!!! I can’t believe I made such a mistake! Ughhhhh. Now he can bother me whenever he wants. Fuck /%?%&$%!
“See you tonight!” Yunho said as he left.
“Fuck you!” I thought.
