[ CHARACTER INFORMATION ]

Name: Eiji Hino
Age: His actor is 19 years old, I think, but with all the traveling and experiences he's supposed to have gone through I would say about 24 or 25 at least.
Gender: Male
Fandom: Kamen Rider OOO
Timeline: Post-Ep 24
History: Handy dandy link!

Character Personality:

Eiji is first and foremost, a good guy. He gives off a type of happy-go-lucky attitude, being amused by simple things. This is, of course, not all to him. He's a good guy -- but the reason why is deeper than just wanting to do right. He's a traveler, a wanderer of sorts. He travels the world, going all across to different places and is content with that. He has nothing to keep him settled down in Japan when the show first starts. The reason for this is that his grandfather died (at the moment, it's unknown why so I'll assume 'natural causes') leaving him alone with no family and no bonds to Japan. This is not why he's a good guy though.

So he travels. So what, right? Inherently, he's a good guy, yes -- but the reason why is he is a good guy and stays that way, stays in Japan to fight the Yummy, helps out people all the time is because of his travels. A major part of his development as a human being was during one of the times he stayed some place for a while. It was a small village in a foreign country where he found his cause for helping. The village was caught in the middle of a Civil War at the time and he decided to stay to help out. During this, he befriended a young girl who he would play with and help out when she needed help. One fine day, the village was bombed. He did his best to help out yet when he spot the girl, caught in the middle of a pile of rubble, he went to get her. Except, he was too late, and couldn't reach her in time before a bomb went off near by and blew her up.

This causes him to be terrified of explosions and being too late to help people. You could say that part of his reason that he is a good guy and helps so many is out of guilt. Guilt stemmed from not being able to help the girl. Part of him hopes that by helping others, he will one day be cleansed of that guilt. It's irrational -- and he knows this, but it still fuels him. He's smart, not genius level, but smart enough. He's in tune with himself and how people work, so he always tries to spread his little philosophies on life to other people. He's a firm believer in the "You can't save the world" belief. A phrase of his he often uses goes something like, "I'm not trying to save the world, but if someone in front of me needs help, I'll do my best to help them." That pretty much sums up why he fights.

He stays happy, he stays helping, it's the best he can do to keep himself happy. He believes that if everyone fought to keep their own little bit of happiness stable -- not to save the world -- then the world would be a better place. Since people are always trying to force their opinions and morals on everyone, he doesn't believe anything will be fixed. Even if they have good intent, it doesn't leave room for other opinions and he doesn't like that. The show shows the dangers of desires and what stems from strong ones -- it's what creates Yummies who then move to destroy things while being fueled by that desire -- yet Eiji doesn't believe desire is bad. In fact, he believes to desire things is not bad, it's what one does with the desire that matters. He tries to show people this, to spread his philosophies around is one of his goals.

Despite being the hero of the show, he can't even be considered selfless. He has selfish desires, just he realizes that it doesn't make someone a bad person to be selfish. It makes them human. That's what he tries to show, he just wants people to be happy themselves because he realizes if everyone tries to be happy with themself first, then things maybe won't be so bad.

Character Abilities:

Hi I am a link! That link shows all the powers/abilities and such from his superhero outfit thing, OOO (pronounced ooz). Yet, other than turning into that to fight monsters, there's other things such as his ability to trust others easily -- though that could also be a weakness -- and his ability to say the right thing at the right time. Sometimes, even when his statements are off the wall silly (talking about life and death to someone, suddenly bringing up underwear) it still... somewhat helps out the person. Later on his metaphors are thought over again and appreciated for the message they give. It's a weird knack of his really.

... But mostly he is just a normal human guy.

Character Weaknesses:

Explosions, mostly. He has a fear of them because of aforementioned civil war. Then all the normal human weaknesses such as the common cold to cuts and bruises. He's also weak, mentally, able to be taken over by mind controlling things. There's also the fact that he is completely and utterly horrible at detecting social cues involving romance. He is just completely dreadful at it and it is one of the things he's made fun of for in canon.

[ SOUL CAMPAIGN SECTION ]

What are the abilities that your character will retain in Soul Campaign?

None except for his natural abilities. He is a normal human when his OOO belt is taken away.

What are the weaknesses that your character will lose or gain in Soul Campaign?

He will be helpless considering that he is just a normal human. 100% human, 100% weak as a human.

[ MEISTER ONLY SECTION ]

Why your character should be a Meister:

Being a meister would be closest to being able to transform into Kamen Rider OOO. He is good at handling weapons and such -- being able to improvise on the spot even when faced with a brand new tool to use. He is also a very good fighter despite being a normal human, which helps in the wielding of weapons. He fits the role of meister as being able to plan skillfully and improvise. He is also able to stay cool under pressure despite maybe freaking out on the inside.

He has a good set of right and wrong when involved in fights, even going so far as to jokingly comment that flying is "not allowed" in combat. Which, ultimately, means he can fight fair. He's grown used to handling weapons and fighting one on one so to switch to be the tool to be used would be a jarring experience for him.

Meister Ability:

Calming Wavelength: Eiji is definitely one of those guys who can easily calm down the people around him. He's laid back, carefree, and has had experience with diffusing situations. He's easily able to make friends and enjoy the company of others (except Ankh pfft) but he is also able to negotiate very well and settle tempers.

Soul Transform: This is the closest Meister Ability to being able to change into his many many many different OOO forms. With OOO he is able to change his legs, torso, and head parts to have different powers and abilities to help him during battle. When combining the parts into a three part combo, he is able to use his powers to create a very powerful finishing attack.

Soul Teleport: This is also the closest Meister Ability Eiji has to his normal situation back home -- which is a drifter who travels from place to place all across the world. It makes him kind of a "hobo" and the fact that he's stayed so long in Japan so far is quite unusual in canon.

First Person:

[The video pops on to show a very frazzled but friendly looking man in his mid twenties scratching his chin and examining the mirror camera thing. When he notices it's on, he smiles.]

Uh... hello. My name is Eiji Hino and er... well, I guess I'm stuck here! That's okay though, new adventures and the like. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has seen a very angry man with... blonde hair sort of and a braid stomping around...? He might have been looking for some ice cream too.

He ... possibly has something of mine but I'm not sure yet so I just need to find him and make sure he hasn't hurt anyone done anything bad. If he has, well, er... I guess I'll take care of it for him.

'Cause, you see... he's kind of dense at times. Just don't tell him I said that.

Anyway, thanks for your help! Sorry for the bother.

Third Person:

It was a nice day actually. Day after they had that fight with the aquatic yummy... thing and he did that water combo and then Hina-chan teased him and oh wait.

Wait.

He doesn't have work today.

So this nice day got a little brighter as he curled up in his bed, mind wandering through the events of the previous day, warm and content in his pajamas. He was in his attic room, and Ankh was probably curled up in his nest asleep (or he would hope so, no one really knew when it came to that... bird-man-person-thing. The weirdo. Yes, he was a weirdo and no one could convince Eiji otherwise). Nevertheless, it was peaceful, it was quiet, he could sleep.

Except... soon enough there was hardness under his back and his blankets were gone. What the heck! What the heck what the hey and all the rest. Sitting up, he rubs his eyes and furrows his brows, blinking into the darkness before-- Oh. Huh. Kidnapped? Kidnapped. Well, shit.

But... he couldn't dwell! It would be fine. He just... he needed to figure out where he was first and crap this place is kind of creepy -- wait getting off track here. No, he needed to find out where he was and where his belt was, it should be in his pocket-- oh. Well, then. That was simple enough. He didn't have his belt. Yep. Perfectly fine where the hell is he--

Ah. Eiji finally takes the time then to notice there is a screen popping on and this red head is talking on it. Okay. Listening to what he's saying--

That's dumb.

This is dumb.

He's screwed.

But well, okay, gotta go with it. He'll be fine. Roll with the punches. ... Heh.
