Over two weeks sober now. Getting used to not being drunk. Starting to be able to fall asleep without alcohol or unisom. It feels good.

To all who commented on my last entry: Thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Today will be five days sober.

I don't know why I'm writing. I guess just 'cause I'm feeling sorry for myself. I'm not happy but I'm not sad either. I'm undescribable. I'm really homesick. I like Korea, it's a nice country and all but I just want to be at home right now. Or at least stationed somewhere where I could come home every few weeks and see the people I love. I'm going to the DMZ in July, either just for a couple days to bring people and ordnance up there, or Gunny said if we're not busy I might stay up there for two weeks with the MARFORK Liason to the ROK Marines up there. I'm using up my emo-entry allowance for the month. I'm really not liking life right now. We just finished a huge oplift and moved an assload of ordnance. Should be good, but insted of just relaxing for a day, I have to clean the nasty disgusting ass head in the OMB. Two hundred and fifty two PFT score (middle first class), above a ninety five class average, and most improved PFT in class. I think I once again am beginning to feel the weight of Lance Corporal chevrons on my collar. And I get to go home in nine days and a wakeup. So I'm in a pretty fuckin good mood right now! URAH! Semper fidelis.

I'm coming home in twenty days. Less than three weeks and I'm going to be home for a month! You have no idea how excited I am. Thirty days with no one telling me what to do, thirty days with Heather and my friends and family. Thirty days of not having to stand posts or guard duty.
