I have been really pleased with SNK lately.
- KOF XI and NeoGeo Battle Colosseum are really solid efforts that hold up well in heated 2-player battles. Not that I think I will ever finish all the mission modes in XI, like taking on three boss characters that all have the strength of three characters each, but I got enough done to get most of the hidden characters unlocked. (Unlocking Mai is harder than I thought it would be.)
- The most played teams in NGBC for us are Marco/Hotaru or Mudman (me) and Cyber Woo/Athena (Iron Lung)
- The KOF 2-packs for PS2 seem to have become rarities. The low price for 02/03 on Amazon is around $80, 00/01 has similar pricing.
- Apparently SNK officially announced they were bringing out a KOF: Orochi collection for PS2 here back in
SEPTEMBER. No specific date yet.
- SAMURAI SHODOWN ANTHOLOGY! Now all we need is Mark of the Wolves and I'm set.
- What prompted all this was reading up on something called SNK Arcade Classics Vol.1 that is coming for PS2 sometime this year. It will have non-fighting games on it, so I'm hoping for lots of puzzlers. :)
