Suikoden V is awesome
60 hours in, and I've been having so much fun finding guys and leveling up that I'm still at the part where you split up into 3 parties (shades of Final Fantasy VI!!!). And there are still plenty of Stars of Destiny left to find...
I am a bit disappointed that I needed some help from the Internet to find some of these guys. The only game I didn't need help with was III, but then again that game didn't have any missable characters. I don't think I would have figured out how to find the giant tortoise otherwise.
LOVING this game! Apology accepted for Suikoden IV, Konami! (I popped it in recently, and it looks more crap than ever! Worse than III! Hopefully they don't have those guys working on Suikoden VI right now.)
