wetsprocket and the Order of the Pizza (PEPPONIMUS!)
Finally, I have completed my journey into the world of Hogwarts. I have finished reading all six Harry Potter books and I cannot wait for book 7.
That said, whoever it was on my Friends List last summer that put up the spoiler for The Half-Blood Prince in the form of a FFVII-parody GIF is an utter bastard. UTTER. I was SO hoping that it was not true that Snape killed Dumbledore. Someone at the time told me that it was just a joke but it was still there in the back of my mind. I guess this is the sort of thing that you think no-one will care about since it's a kid's book or whatever. Unwanted spoilers suck. People who spoil without warning are bastards. Rosebud was Citizen Kane's sled. I mean, really.
The other thing that got spoiled for me was when angeleyesnichi told me Snape was the Half-Blood Prince. But it was pretty obvious it was him from the start, anyway. (Can't really get too upset at her, she's the one who got me on the books to begin with, plus she's my sweetie.)
Things have been set up quite nicely for Book 7, what with the quest for the Horcruxes and the school possibly closing. And I can't wait to read the narration of Book 7, Rowling just gets funnier with every book. I do hope she's got some great explanation for why Dumbledore trusted Snape so implicitly... and also I hope Harry and Ginny hook up again (they were so good together!)
Now I can be one of those jerks that sneers at every change they make for movies 5 and 6! Yay!
