Reading Festival
Just managed to get myself 4 weekend tickets for Reading Festival. It took about 40 mins online and as predicted they sold out pretty fast. Now it turns out that I might actually only need two so I might have to resort to flogging 2 on ebay. If and when I do I will not be profiteering from those less fortunate at managing to get online and snap some up. I will sell them at cost price including the £7 'convenience fee' WTF??!! That was added on to each along with the postage making the total for 4 tickets about £40 more than they actually cost.
I am really getting sick of the profiteering going on re gig tickets. I cannot think of any way round what is happening that is easy to implement and doesn't hurt genuine people who really suddenly cannot go.
Who is to say if I sell mine that some tout won't buy them off me and sell them on at a huge mark up? I want mine to go to real music people not some fatcat ticket touting pimp!
Rant over. I am rather pleased with my forthcoming gigging but now have to be a little more choosy about where and when I go as I am running out of cash.
