wetheleaders: a ygfamily fiction recommendation community
who we are:
wetheleaders was created as a community to recommend yg family-focused fiction. that's all the artists, back-up dancers, and crew, including: big bang, 2ne1, 1tym, stony skunk, perry, se7en, jinusean, and gummy; kim jihye, the kwon twins, jo "taeji" sungmin; viva.h, seungho, daniel "sexy" lee, master hwang, yang hyunsuk and minsuk; and anybody else with their name tied to the yg family label. the fics may feature artists from other labels or other people as long as somebody within yg family is a central character in the fic. we have eight moderators to recommend fiction, but not all of us have the same personal tastes as far as what they like. also, we are unbiased and won't discriminate on a fic based on pairings, rating, or genre. we focus instead on the writing :). basically, if we read something we like, we'll rec it. to be recced, your fic must be unlocked. there's really no point in reccing a fic only for readers to find out they can't easily access it.
weekend themes: (CURRENTLY STALLED)
to keep the community going, we'll be focusing on reccing different themed fics, both old and new, every sunday of the month. the themes will include:
1st sunday: popular pairings
2nd sunday: rarepairs & nopairs (gen bandfic)
3rd sunday: crossovers
4th sunday: hetfic
the last day of every month we'll be doing a monthlong ficlet/drabble round-up: fics under 500 words will be posted in one entry. if a ficlet really catches our eye, we'll add it to the end of another rec at any time. at the years end we'll also do a top 25, which will be the moderators' group effort. ***as of january 2011, the mods have decided to halt sunday recs for a while because of the lack of fic. it might make a comeback in the future when there is sufficient fics, however.

of course we acknowledge that we might miss a great fic here and there, so if you would like to rec one to us so we can post here, please click here. please keep in mind that we may not agree with you about its quality, in which case it may not make it on here. all comments are screened, and anonymous commenting has been turned on.
