Puppy!
Dear LiveJournal,
Meet Gelato.
He's my family's new maltese puppy. He was born at 1:40 AM on May 21st, 2009. He's one of four puppies and the only one who survived.+
that's his umbilical cord...
I'm biased, but he's insanely cute and adorable even though he resembles a rat and acts just like his father, Panini*. And if you don't believe the cute factor:
Him and his mommy are adorable together.
+My aunt heard a noise at around 1:35 and then called us all down saying "Puppies! Puppies!" [the only reason I was up because nature had been calling me about 5 minutes before] and when we got to the room, one puppy was born and had died already. She (Diva) was in the process of delivering Gelato but he got stuck and we had to help her. The other two puppies had to be taken out via C-Section in the morning since one of the males (there were 3 males, 1 female) was stuck inside Diva and the female was behind him. They didn't make it.
*We're hungry when we name our pets.
For example: Panini, Latte, and now Gelato.
What can I say?
We're Italian. We like food.
