Day 14 - Favorite Book Pairing: Remus & Tonks from the Harry Potter series
From the moment Tonks yelled at Remus about not calling her Nymphadora, and he replied so calmly about it, I thought “They are so going to hook up.” At the end of Half-Blood Prince, I was so happy with Tonks’ exclamation about loving Remus (which I already knew anyway because no way was she moping over Sirius), I momentarily forgot to be sad about Dumbledore. And Deathly Hallows broke my heart in several different ways, I still haven’t fully come to an acceptance on their ending. However, through all the ups and downs, this is my favorite pairing perhaps because we didn’t get to see a lot of it first hand and have to interpret and imagine most of their life together. I like having the basics and imagining the rest; makes reading fanfic a lot of fun. All the same though, if JKR decided to write a book completely about them, I read it in a heartbeat.
