IOWA II
This weekend was much fun and tiring. Luckily I had the foresight to take Monday off for a little R&R.
Friday:
Dumb ass work called me 3 hours after I fell asleep after getting back from Iowa
Lunch with Erin, Joe and Sue Nachos II (Nachos I were at the Iowa TB where they make them naked)
Homecoming Game
Dinner with field staff (ie siblings and friends) Nachos III
Band Party at Dans
Saturday:
Plymouth Symphony concert and dinner afterwards with some of my favorite people - Nachos IV sick!!!!!!!!!
Finally saw Jennie later on - haven't seen her in forever!
Rolled on out to 8 mile for a photo shoot while listening to the best mix CD ever!
Sunday:
Well Clark made the trip back himself because Lewis woke up feeling like death, BUT Clark had MB for the ride out.
More singalongs to the best mix CDs ever
MB changed pants in a gas station parking lot
MB took the helm for the last half of the trip so I could get some rest
Loaded the dorm room with much needed supplies and watched a Mandy Moore movie - YES!
Finally ate a dinner that wasn't Nachos - I was addicted there for a while
Dinner was a twofold success - I broke my addiction and MB had her last good meal until Thanksgiving apparently.
Then back to Michigan but not without a 60 mile round trip (if you thought the highways were corn lined - go 30 miles off!!!) detour to see the boyhood home of President Reagan - it was sweet but all my pictures turned out like CRAP! I guess I'll just have to go again sometime :) lol
