well, in the Deep-Sigh-Of-Relief-Accompanied-By-An-Erection category, the missus returned from japan last wednesday. i have hardly been apart from her since and i am so fucking happy. wow. i am...really happy. among other things, she brought with her a record by the japanese duo afrirampo. you should listen to them. we will all likely be hearing much more about them before long. they are a drum and guitar group who wear mostly red and white. i know what you are thinking, but no -- they are much much much cooler than the white stripes. they are fucking rock murder chaos + improv and very funny. and they're both girls. go listen and love them like you ought to.
