Well about 5 or 6 other eva works are in the works O-o;
Yes they are now making a petit eva >> Which can be good or bad... though it's supposed to be stupid with SD, super deformed, characters so I guess I can let it slide XD So far from what I can figure out there are supposed to be several Rei Ayanamis in the story. In fact they should be related as sisters or something simular to that. The older kids are part of a "twil wave" which I have no idea how that will be translated, but the younger is in the "chibi wave." I have a feeling the twil wave is actually related to Rei in general and not so much about a group of class memebers... again can't translate :x Anyway, the youngest of the Reis will have a pet Penpen XD Also the Evas will actually be characters and might have voice parts :x Yes.. the Eva units are part of a middle school gang XD Misato will be the teacher who lives along and is 29 years old and drinks a lot. lol Oh they also went ahead and introduced a new andriod.. no clue if that's good or bad XD I think her name might be either Ja or Kiyara, but I doubt the secod because Kiyara is probably a reference to the Angels which does not actual tranlate to angel at all, so for those who want to make some reference between the angels and god.. there is one, but they are actual angels XD Just a translation done in order to help people understand the story, but don't take it as literal. According to the CEO of ADV films, it took Gainax an entire day to explain it, so don't expect me to know why in full either XD
The other is actually a remake of the series, Rebuild of Evangelion. it looks almost the same as the first, but with revamped animations and a few twist in story. Sadly I can't read japanese XD So for now I don't know much besides there are supposed to be about 4 titles being produced. How long or how many is a whole other store. I have a feeling it will only be about 4 episodes of about 22-23 minutes long. Though Hideaki anno should be involved so it shouldn't be that bad actual. Completely lost as to what's going on lol but they are expecting the movie to be done in about a year or two. Not much is being said so far in the US. Though from the looks of it so far the animation is really up to date and it seems like they are making sure it doesn't hinder the original series at all.

As you can tell there isn't much difference, but a revamp on animation and some new scenes and as the original trailer says, "new character, new machine, new story" so we'll just have to wait until semptember to find out lol In the mean time watch petit eva :x when it comes out. oO;
Also on a side note they should be replaced "Take me to the moon" with "Beautiful World" by Utada Hikaru (Family, Given name).
