Site stuff O-o;;;
Yes well once again I'm redoing the site O-o; why? well actually the site will pretty much look the same, but the interal code will be modified to ASP.NET instead of classic ASP.
Well why the heck would you change it? Well because .NET is newer! durr lol
Actually with .net the site will run a lot smoother and require a lot less code and run a lot faster. Plus I can manage to limit the amount of pages almost in half. oO How? Self-submit pages, active server controls, new form elements and easy to modify html elements.
Which will mean the reduce need of javascript and hopefully removing java completely. So this means the site will slowly be changing out to .aspx instead of .asp. Downside is there will be no major updates for a while. And classes start soon so the site will be put on hold for a few months, but will still be worked on the side. Though with 18 hours on my last semester I'll be really busy. Of course it's a learning experience more then anything else XD
So I don't mind taking forever because I'm more concerned about learning webscript programing and server management more then creating the actual site. Which when done will be kick ass :D
Actions are still being worked on. A few issues with the image upload features mainly. But nothing to really be concerned about. Well until then enjoy looking at the half completed site XD
