Am sitting here in my pjs, housecoat and slippers at 1:30 on a Sunday afternoon, ignoring the rain outside and indulging myself in the last chapter of
Borderlines, a Faculty fic by
vshendria that has consumed me since the very first line appeared, and which is now, at long last, finished. And the world seems a little smaller and darker, because no new chapters to look forward to, but she's left the characters in a place that seems right for them, and ended on a closing note that allows for hope, so really, what more can one ask?
So - yet one tree to sacrifice in the name of Casey, Zeke, Sasha, Jerry and everyone else she made come alive over the years. Because I'm not saying goodbye.
I'm rather inarticulate over the trailer for
Day Zero. Because the images have burned themselves into my brain, and I'm having a little trouble functioning right now.
