Working from Home, freezing feet, and a bunch of other things.

So, for those of you who aren't locals, the Bay Bridge, basically the vein and artery in and out of San Francisco, has been shut down. The repair that they made on Labor Day weekend gave, and crunched a few cars. No one was hurt.

But, that means that anything going to SF, which is on this little peninsula of land, connected to the East bay (Where I live) by four bridges, has to go on these other bridges. To make things even better, the Golden Gate, the big famous bridge for San Francisco, blew a gas line. It was just not CalTrans' day!

The bridge has been closed since I went home on Tuesday. I've been working from home for the past two days, because BART is packed beyond capacity (Standing room only on every train) and I'm NOT going to be getting on that train when there's the flu and H1N1 going around! I still haven't managed to get my vax because well...I've been working, and I've been trying to figure out how to work the Trans Bay Bus. I was planning on getting it on Friday still, during lunch. I just don't know a lot of doctor information that I need. Ugh.

Halloween is this weekend! I'm going to work pretty hard over the next two days to have my room cleaned up for the new year! I'm going to throw a little mini feast for myself! I'm going to bike up to the store and buy myself some neat foods to stock my fridge with, and really get started on going more and more raw for the new year! I don't think going 100% would be optimum for me, mainly because I do oh so love the cooked food. But a higher percentage would be wonderful! That's my idea for the new year anyway. I've almost been living with me as my new self for seven months, and I'd like to go into the next year being the same way.

My poor little paws are FREEZING though. This room has like...a cold spot over here where my desk is. Don't worry, you'll get pics as soon as I'm finished!

God, I love that one song on the animal planet. This one:
