(no subject)
Ugh, writing in Japanese in Windows XP is unnecessarily complicated... I'll have to futz with it later.
Anyway! My desk is about 33% built (I'm really excited about this, I've always wanted a desktop drafting table!
Spent Sat with Dani, got a couple of sketches finished that I need to scan. (I have this allergy to my scanner, in that I hate doing it and break out into lazy every time I try!) I also managed to draw a Chibi in a TOTALLY different style from my own. It's weird to look at. I also Colored the stupid thing!
Shading and everything! ::boggles::
My room's clean, so I'm feeling Manic again.
Kody got his ear hurt on Friday (because he's stupid), and an unnoticed tear got abcessed, so we had to sit on him for like...an hour while Hyenagirl cleaned it out and got it all put back together again. I'm SO grateful to her for that! She's really good at stitching up stupid puppies.
I ordered stuff for shrinky-dinks. I'm looking forward to making myself some cell phone charms! (I don't have any!)
I'm tossing myself into learning Katakana, because my hiragana's finally gotten pretty good. yes, it takes me a long time to read it, but, hey, I was able to read just about every hiragana in Kuroshitsuji! I still get caught up with 're' and 'ne' but I think I've finally got 'wa' through my thick skull! (I'd type those out, but...see the beginning of this entry!)
And then, when I feel confident with that, I'll pop into learning Kanji! (Seriously, why don't they make 'learn Japanese' programs like they have for little kids? I want to start off with "The ball is red" "The ball is on the table" "The red ball is on the table" Why are they all practical business meeting Japanese! ARGH!)
