Suits
The New Deal by Closer
I've been falling into Suits for the past week, and this fic took a different tack: would meeting at a different point in two people's lives change their connection> Cue Harvard Law student Harvey nearly tripping over teenage runaway Mike Ross.
"Okay, it's late," he says. "Obviously neither of us are making good decisions. Here's the deal. I don't call the cops, you sleep on my sofa tonight."
Mike frowns at him. "What's in it for you?"
"No headline tomorrow reading Teen runaway found frozen to death," Harvey replies. "I have exams coming up, I don't need the guilt."
Mike narrows his eyes. "I keep the phone."
"I keep your shoes."

Goodbye Means Going Away (And Going Away Means Forgetting) by lit_chick08
Rickon remembers his parents, no matter what anyone else says. And he's so glad they've come home.
"I missed you," Rickon says because it feels true, because he aches for something he doesn't remember at all.
He sleeps beside her until they leave for Winterfell, and every night she sings to him, sings every song she knows, and Rickon thinks he remembers when she'd sing for all of them in a grand bed in her chambers.

Average Avengers Local Chapter 7 of New York City by hetrez
Steve and Tony accidentally start a national do-gooders' association and fall in love. Steve the Union supporter totally informed all of my vague ideas of how if Steve came home from the war, he and McCarthy would have had issues.
Tony and Hawkeye turn to look at each other, and there's an obvious wavelength of, 'I'm not gonna miss this hilarity if you're not,' and so that's how they all end up riding the Staten Island Ferry back to Manhattan during rush hour.

Darcy's job is awesome, and so are eighties bands. The scenery's not too bad either.
“At least you’re not bored,” he said.
“How can I be?” she said, not actually kidding. “I’ve got a boss that is a walking thesaurus, I get the low down on all the wacky stuff you guys are up to, and I get at least one 80s song stuck in my head on a daily basis due to some guy whistling like a dork every morning.”

The Pure and Simple Truth by
letteredI'm not entirely sure how to describe this. It's going to the bar and discussing conflicting ideologies and not having that actually damage a friendship. It's making a friendship out of discussing differences, and possibly some excessive apologizing. It's Harry, Draco, Ron, Hermione, Pansy, and a whole bunch of other people, going to the bar on Thursday in various different combinations. And sometimes you see a light and rethink your worldview, and sometimes you don't, and that's okay too.
Malfoy turned towards him slightly, but stopped when Ron said, "I sort of regret not hearing the other ninety-five verses of Weasley Is Our King."
"I would sing them all," said Pansy, "but I can't in mixed company. Some of them are dirty."
"Dirty?" Ron choked on air, a bit.
"Yes," said Pansy. "Your shoulders didn't depress me, at Hogwarts. Everything else depressed me. Your biceps depress me even less, now."
