You strike me as a Martell through and through. Your description of your ideal house is pretty close to Moorish architecture in Spain; you crave adventure and and knowledge like a certain Sand Snake who is most likely at the Citadel; you're athletic, like most of the women of Dorne that we've seen; you like intrigue (which seems to be a Dornish thing--both Princess Arianne and her father end up planning coups; and you're proud of rising above your station, which, if I've read the books correctly, seems to be more possible in Dorne than elsewhere. Areo Hotah, Prince Doran's chief guard, rose from poverty, and both merchants and the "Orphans" of the river have gone on to found great houses without these origins being lost or forgotten. I'd definitely say that you're a Martell.

Oh, I do love that theory on the said Sand Snake! I'm really looking forward to meeting her in the books, because I think I might be able to really relate with her. Your explanation honestly made me want to be sorted into Martell, but I got sorted into Tyrell. Not that I'm complaining - I love the Tyrells and I wish I could be a badass like them. It just makes me think that maybe I'm a Dorne-flavoured Tyrell (which is quite ironic). Thank you so much for this elaboration!
I definitely think you're suited for house Lannister. Your strong love of family and the need to survival and succeed really speaks of the lions to me. Don't sound the sort that will let anyone stand between you and your goals. Also you seem the sort who respects the rules but also knows how to wield them to your advantage.
