"live journals are online journals, visible to everyone, as such, they are much liked by attention/drama whores.

dead journals are the idiotic pun version for "goths", aka attention whores who wear all black, too much white make up, and write bad poetry, call themselves names that they think sound dark or medieval and listen to the cure all day while pretending to cut themselves for inane reasons such as "the football team won't gang-bang me in behind the bleachers" or "mom made me drive billy to soccer practice then forgot to call me 'Azreal Sanguine', my name isn't Mary!"

these online journals, formerly known as blogs (web logs) are used by angsty teens to vent their passive agressive rantings out in a private yet public fasion, which all their equally passive agressive and angsty drama whore friends will read and create wonderful rings of drama and idiocy that never end.

One day I hope to come up with an idea that will allow me to make money teen angst and attention whores - unlike oil, those are natural resources that will NEVER be depleated, though are arguably more harmful to humanity"

A post from someone on a message board i visit. Frightening true as well, although i laughed hysterically when i found it. I didnt post in defence of livejournals for the simple reason that there isnt one really. I'm keeping mine though, inspite of everything. I'm simply admitting what an angsty teenage drama whore i really am.
