Keep speaking! I'll be there in no time flat! [Even with the video on, the rushed sounds of footsteps as well as the slamming of the door was loud. Of course anyone out at this time would wonder what got the man into a panic and running like the devil nipping at his heels towards the subway area.]

[He didn't speak this time but the sounds started to echo through the comunicator. If someone could hear closely, there was a ripping sound and the yowls of the cougars currently in the subway along with growls that sounded...human.

He reached the tunnel where he spotted the cow and without a second thought threw his hatchet right at its head. With a growl coming from his throat, the bloodied ranger spoke in a deadly tone.]

Get away from him.

[Do the monsters listen? Pfft, naw. Cue Adam grabbing Heiji by the back of his shirt and pushing him off to the side. With hatchet raised to the enemy, he speaks again.]

Hurt him...and I kill you.

[You know when someone snaps when loved ones are in danger and that fight-or-flight instinct kicks in? Well...that's where Adam's state of mind is right now.]

[Wow, rude! The injured teen collided onto the ground, if anything compromising what part of the wound the body would have already started healing. Or attempt to anyway. He gritted his teeth in the pain, applying as much pressure to the wound as he could.]

[How do you even reply to that? This was a side he honestly didn't anticipate from Adam, so it came as shock if nothing else.

Maintaining consciousness was no easy task, and he was drenched in sweat. His blood caked enough spots to make it evident that he's lost quite a bit. The monster certainly did a number on him.

His jaw unclenched momentarily, but his speech still suffered. It was winded, and definitely not as strong as before.]

[And the older man scooped up the teen's communicator and helped him to his feet, holding up one side for balance. The intial instinct started to leave Adam's system, making him shake. Right now wasn't the time for this; he needed to get Heiji to Weiss even if he was nuts. The man was still a doctor and with all the blood lost between Heiji, the martial artist, and the monsters...he was needed.

And anyone heading back...don't mind the dead animal bodies and blood all over the tunnel. Maybe they can be more food for the town.]

Don't ever tell us not to come again, got it? [His voice was stern but thankfully, it was different than before; more worried.]

[There was already a lack of blood, him standing up just forced most of it to his limbs. Heiji was dizzy, he couldn't concentrate. It was likely he would lose consciousness soon. His feet dragged, stumble even. Maybe they wouldn't even make it outside.]

[Even the most observant of detectives was too dazed to follow a simple conversation.]

[Unfortunately, despite how much Heiji willed it, he couldn't keep to anymore. It took all of a second for the teen to slip into unconsciousness and become dead weight. There was no telling how much longer he had left his wound still bleeding.]

[Adam nearly fell down thanks to Heiji blacking out but kept a hold of his footing.]

Not giving up on you!

[And he grabs behind the teen's legs and lifts them up so he was carrying Heiji bridal style. Now to get to that doctor...and he starts to try and break out into a run of sorts. That won't last long.]

[With his ARM in hand, Kresnik reaches the subway and notices Adam carrying Heiji. He's quiet for a moment, but he eventually speaks.]

[He whips his head in Kresnik's direction and relaxes a bit.]

...he's lost a lot of blood. I wouldn't go down in there if I were you; it's a big mess.

[And he continues to head to the drug store, holding Heiji close to him. It would be wise for anyone not to touch either one or Adam might go crazy again; he's still in that fight-or-flight mode but not as much.]
